I must confess: I love a cute romper. I might even consider it a girl’s best friend especially on days where you just want to slip into something and be ready to go. I found this flirty romper last year at Marshalls. It has adorable scalloped edges and a beautiful buttoned back. Seriously, this little number is so perfect for summer! I found two similar ones HERE and HERE (my romper is no longer available at Marshalls) and they are just as cute! Just add heels and a bright red lip, and you’re ready to go!

I am so excited to share a little preview of my new V Wear Collection Jewelry Line with you all today! My new collection is very dear to my heart since I have incorporated some of my father’s favorite colors to my jewelry. My father passed away 2 years ago, and it is still a pain that I carry with me each and every day. His spirit, though is always with me, and I truly hope that he is smiling down on me, as I am working on my new pieces that are dedicated to him. My father’s favorite colors were blue and green; he loved nature. I remember taking long walks with him and my brother, and he would always quote Lord Byron.

“There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more.”

This quote really describes my father well, and as I am getting older I can really appreciate these words as well, in fact, being out in the nature, where none intrudes, is where I feel closest to God and my father.

So, my new jewelry line – which consists of unique cuff bracelets, and a whole new druzy collection, including necklaces, earrings and bracelets – is dedicated to my loving father, who passed away too soon.

I love you, dad. Always and forever.

Are you finding what to wear to the office difficult, sometimes even boring? I often find myself uninspired on what to wear to the office since neutrals in black, white and grey can sometimes be dull on their own, even though they are always classic combinations. Hence I started investing in smart, timeless neutrals you will get your money’s worth ten times over, especially if you use the method of mixing and matching. A couple of brights coordinate beautifully with neutrals as well which is why I added the neon clutch to my outfit. The clutch complements my navy striped jumpsuit nicely, don’t you think? I truly believe in modest clothing, and it really is unfortunate that our society doesn’t always value it. The media tells us to wear “this” and the Bible tells to wear “that.” So, I’m especially thankful to brands, like Mikarose, who make it possible for us to still look fashion forward, aka cute, yet stay covered and modest.

Color Me Not

Lately I’ve been obsessed with clean lines and monochromatic colors. Perhaps it has something to do with our rather crazy summer weather. One day, it’ll be hot and sunny, and then the next day, it’ll be rainy and cold. So, I’m ditching the colors this summer for Black and White. It’s a classic trend that simply never goes out of style, wouldn’t you agree?

Gear up this summer to go sharp with the contrast of the monochrome effect and keep it straight up and to the point!
