Baby J’s Nursery Reveal

Baby J’s Nursery Reveal

I’ve been anxiously waiting to share all the details about Baby J’s nursery and finally, the day is here for the big reveal! My husband and I worked really hard on it and we couldn’t be more proud to share the results with you! Take peek into Baby J’s nursery…

Our vision, down to the details of the bookends and plush animals finally came to life! I had initially created a moodboard on Pinterest with a color palette + theme, and we pretty much went from there. Baby J’s nursery used to be our guest bedroom and it took us a little over 1 month to complete since we put in new floors, repainted the walls, etc. But we are so grateful for Shutterfly for helping outfit this room with some seriously dreamy items! As you know, I went with a serene and simple scheme aimed at calming not only the little guy but myself as well. I knew I wanted grey walls, and white furniture. To add some color to the room my husband and I decided on the following accent colors: Turquoise and orange. As you can see below, Baby J’s plush animals are in these colors, as well as some of the home accessories, such as the custom print monogrammed pillows, as well as this super stylish herringbone fleece blanket from Shutterfly.

Seeing Baby J’s nursery now, well, it’s exactly what I was envisioning myself the whole time. I can’t imagine anything different or anything more for the space where I get to spend the most intimate and special moments with our Baby boy. So many more memories to come in our dream nursery!

Most of the art work is from Home Goods, but some are presents from dear friends and family, such as the California & Illinois map and the picture frame right below it. You can shop similar ones below:

For the crib I chose a 4-in-1 convertible crib and I am obsessed. It’s simple and sleek. It’s an amazingly well made piece of furniture too.  The bedding here is from Amazon (sheet) which I love.

As always, thanks so much for reading & have a wonderful Wednesday!

XOXO

The nursery looks beautiful, Vanessa! I love the color scheme you went with, very calming with the white, grey, and turquoise and I love the pop of orange. I know how much you love being by the water too, so the turquoise just makes sense, as does the little tree decal, bringing a little of the outside influence indoors. I know that seeing it all completed must make it that much more REAL that he’s arriving soon! Thank so much for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far!

Oh, dear V., all so sweet! And the maps, the sentences… “Don’t rush to grow up”… he will love everything, I am sure! I loved the wall color, the turquoise and orange color scheme… all so elegant and peaceful, like a baby needs – and the whole family too! I really loved everything, very good taste and the Gucci shoes, ooohh, how sweet! I am eager to see you carrying Baby J soon! Hugs and kisses, dear friend!
