Boho Chic to me can be described in three (3) words: It’s inspirational, dreamy and whimsical. Now most people think of ‘boho’, as in flower-children full of whimsy and free-flowing dresses. To me, boho chic is much more than that. It’s a lifestyle. Being free, and being able to wear what you desire. I love finding unique pieces, and I am certainly not afraid to add more color to my wardrobe. I definitely have fun with fashion and I don’t take it too seriously.

One of the things I did last weekend was exploring the vintage racks in my neighborhood. I found this belt, hidden in a corner. It’s an old Michael Kors belt which I was able to get for just a few bucks! I love finding treasures like these. It’s almost most like these vintage items are telling you a story. It has history, and I just love that. I often catch myself wondering about the owner, and how the person before me wore it.

So, yes, I adore the bohemian lifestyle. I try not too much to conform to trends but instead focus on my own art in fashion.

What are you thoughts on the bohemian lifestyle?

As always, I would love to hear from you, and thanks so much reading!

Much love.

I love your definition of boho! I agree that the word usually evokes images of flowery hippie style, but I think your take on it is way more on point. I love your style, you keep doing you, lovely!

Vanessa, you are totally rocking this boho chic look to perfection! I am swooning over that fur coat, which offers so much personality to the look; such a great piece, as is your new belt! I love big buckle belts and the fact that it’s Michael Kors and you were able to get it for only a couple of bucks, makes it that much better! I have a few vintage pieces and I, too, have wondered about how the original owner wore it. Was it gifted? Was it their favorite piece at one point? So many questions with answers left to the imagination, which makes the whole experience that much more fun and interesting!

I hope you’re having a wonderful day so far, my beautiful friend! Sending lots of love and hugs your way!

I’ve never thought about boho chic as a lifestyle, but it gives so much more meaning to it now! I think it’s really interesting how fashion can speak so much about our personalities.

Your whole outfit is amazing, I love the pearl details on your collar and the mirrored sunglasses! It just really pulls everything together.
