Bump Update: 34 Weeks

Jumping into the long weekend and celebrating my 34th mark! Things are going well on the baby cooking front over here with only one major symptom—I’m tired! So, here’s to my 34 weeks bump update: Read all about my emotions and how we’re in our last spurts getting ready for Baby J’s arrival!

My mornings lately have been extremely rough. As a mother to a already 5 year old toddler I need to be up and going but boy (!) am I tired! It’s super difficult to get up when you’re majorly groggy. But I know this will soon pass and I must admit that I’m getting extremely excited knowing that Baby J will soon join our family! Even Kingston talks about this baby brother more and more which really melts my heart. Besides that I can strongly say that I’ve officially hit the “over it” part of this pregnancy. In fact, I’ve been eyeing some Levis vintage jeans I’m about to purchase once I’m done with being pregnant. This may sound silly but I honestly day dream about the moment I can actually wear jeans and button them, no kidding aside.

I talk all things motherhood related + share a yummy recipe on some of my pregnancy cravings!

Hon, well done for your feature and loooooved reading to get to know more about you. Very interesting that you and your hubby did a long distance r/ship- Europe and America-wow! Also loving your flatlay, there is baby stuff and then you hit us with Chanel, haha! And I can imagine that now you are so close to giving birth, that you are marking out all the clothes you’ll be able to wear soon.
To answer your questions on my blog- In Berlin, I tend to get my pieces from vintage shops like ReSales (they do such fab well-priced leather pieces), I will get my jackets from Humana Vintage, in the last 6 months I’ve got a looooot of pieces from Zara. Yesteray I went to see their Spring collection which ich finde nicht so interessant, so I’ll have to find other stores in Berin for Spring it seems.
Berlin has stores dotted everywhere with independent designers but something always stops me from stepping in and having a look…
    Have a lovely weekend. Xx

You look very stylish in stripes, and congratulations on being featured on the mommy website!
I bet it most be hard to take care of a five year old and be pregnant! Does not seem to be easy, but you seem to be doing a really good job 🙂

    Best wishes,

Wow you’re 34 weeks already! It’s been a while since I last visited… I blame my toddler for never having the time to do the things I want haha 😀 You are such a gorgeous mama!! I remember being about 34 weeks and thinking that my due date was soo far away… And then I gave birth 4 weeks later. All the best to you and your sweet bump and enjoy these last few weeks! xx

First off, can’t believe you’re 34 weeks, I feel like you just announced you were expecting! Also, congrats on the feature.. so awesome!!
And.. the part about you can’t wait to button jeans made me laugh. Pretty sure I’m going to feel the exact same way, one day when I have a bun in the oven 😉

Hope you’re having a good weekend!

Love the vest layered over the sleeveless top! Such a great look 🙂 Those last few weeks of pregnancy are definitely the hardest, especially when it’s your second and you can’t nap as much as you like, haha. I was much more tired this time around than I was with my oldest, as I had a toddler to entertain too. You’re looking stylish still though 🙂

Hope you are having a great weekend 🙂

  23. February 21, 2017 / 9:35 AM

First off, I absolutely adore this outfit! I love the OTS paired with the vest and the blue color palette, which looks so good on you! Yay for 34 weeks, you are SO close!!! I’m sure it’s so exciting knowing that Baby J is soon to arrive! I feel ya, fatigue has been my only symptom to date. It’s gotten better these past couple of weeks, but it’s been a bit inconsistent 🙁 I can imagine how rough it must be in the mornings getting Kingston ready for school and being tired, but you’ve managed, girl!!! Almost there!!! Also, congrats on being featured and your interview, that’s awesome my friend! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you had a wonderful 3 day weekend!

    XO,

    Jalisa
