Happy Monday, lovelies! I am so excited to share a look from Shabby Apple today! I teamed up with them to introduce you to their amazing skirt collection, and let me tell you: They are all beautiful! In 2006, founder, Athelia Woolley LeSueur created a business plan that would help beautify and empower women, and has been successful ever since!

I am wearing the Dutchess Skirt which is such a beautiful calf length (flare) skirt. I haven’t worn a calf length skirt in such a long time and I must admit: I am swooned! Are you?!

As always, thanks so much for reading & don’t forget to comment below! I would love to hear from you!

Thank you to Shabby Apple for sponsoring this post.

I am super excited to introduce you all to a wonderful designer from NYC today! I teamed up with designer and founder, Kirat S. Anand of KAS New York to give you a peek into his unique designs. Kirat began his career as an investment banker at JPMorgan, but it wasn’t long before he left to follow his heart to become a designer.

I am wearing a cheerful yellow shift dress with a red color-blocked at hem, and pink peter pan collar that is simply to die for! When KAS New York contacted me to review his collection – I knew this dress would be it! I love how you can wear it perfectly during the summer, as well as during autumn. I paired this dress with black nylons and my new fall booties from Sears (yes, Sears y’all!) to give it an autumn feel…, et voilà! Mission accomplished!

Visit KAS NEW York here, and be mesmerized by his pieces! He is known for his impeccable use of exotic print and colors, and I can promise you that Kirat’s designs are destined to become your centerpieces of your fall wardrobe as well!

As always, thanks so much for reading & a BIG THANK YOU to KAS NEW YORK for sponsoring this post!

Below are easy-to-wear staples from KAS that add a vibrant, bohemian-inspired vibe to your fall ensembles.

Happy Wednesday, lovelies! Today I am wearing a custom tulle skirt design by eShakti (which I have paired with a comfy turtleneck sweater from Express). Yes, this skirt was customized to fit my body perfectly, and guess what?! eShakti does customizations without breaking your bank (by keeping up with technology as it is advancing, they are able to provide customization at a modest cost). I am head over in heels in love with my skirt – because let’s face it: Who doesn’t want a Carrie Bradshaw moment? Ever since I saw SJP wear a gorgeous tulle skirt on Sex and The City, I’ve been smitten.

Check eShakti out here and get 10% off your purchase if you use coupon code ‘whatwouldvwear’ at checkout (valid through 10/30/2014)!

Happy Shopping!

As always, thank you for reading & a BIG THANK YOU to eShakti for sponsoring this post!

Happy Monday, lovelies! Last Thursday I walked the runway together with 14 other Top Chicago bloggers to honor the Lynn Sage Foundation, a research-funding platform founded by sisters Laura and Halee Sage in search of breast cancer cure. The event was hosted by no one else but the fabulous Janet Mandell of Fashionaholic at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. The fashion show was a true success – with attendees joining forces for a good cause, and us bloggers showcasing Nicole Miller’s Fall/Winter Collection 2014. The collection itself was to die for; the designer, Nicole Miller, is known for her modern aesthetics (imbued with bright prints and patterns). I wore a grey twill skirt paired with a long sleeve silk top. The skirt is straight off the runway and reflects their Warrior theme for this Fall season. It is a faux-wrap skirt made of stretch silk twill. I was especially fond of the beaded waistband – it’s so elegant, don’t you agree? It contrasts nicely with the print of the skirt for an eclectic and boho-chic feel. The top I wore is made of solid silk and has an elegant drape across the front that creates an ethereal yet sophisticated look (which looked fantastic with the skirt).

As always, thanks so much for reading and a BIG THANK YOU to Janet Mandell of Fashionaholic, as well as Monika Dixon of Monika Dixon PR, and last but not least, Lena of Felinecreatures who is another fabulous Chicago blogger who allowed me to use some her images for today’s post taken by her photographer Jason J. If you want to see all the looks of the Think Pink Event please, visit her website here.

Also a BIG SHOUT OUT to my former Chicago bloggers – you girls all rock! It was a pleasure walking the runway with you!

Fall has officially arrived, and depending on the weather outside your door, it may be difficult to go full-on fall with cozy sweaters and suede over-the-knee boots. To get into the season without taking on the dark colors, I am telling you to try on B L U S H – yes, blush, not pink. Even if you aren’t a “pink girl,” take a look at blush options for fall. Think of blush as nude with a little warmth brought on by the pink tint, making it wearable for everyone. Blouses and dresses look especially chic, yet feminine and not in a girlie girl way (in case that’s not your thing). Blush also works with neutrals you already own like camel, black and navy. Today, I decided to go completely blush (both pants and sweater are from a recent Forever 21 purchase) while pairing it with one of my favorite faux fur vests. What do you think of this outfit? I would love to hear from you!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!
