To Hatch, or Not to Hatch?

…a guide to maternity clothing. I’ve teamed up with Hatch, a women’s maternity collection that is oh so perfect for a 6 months pregnant gal like me. Their maternity line is beautiful and timeless—whether you’re pregnant or not, their pieces would literally look amazing on anyone!

One of the many questions I constantly get is whether one should buy maternity clothes or simply rely on the wardrobe you already have so, I decided to dedicate this post to maternity fashion. As my body continues to change, and my bump getting bigger and bigger by the minute (literally!) I’ve found it extremely hard to be comfortable in my clothes. I like it “roomy”, and yet I don’t want to sacrifice fashion.

These days I’m drawn to soft knits (hello, winter!) because of its cozy appeal + they are very forgiving. And this dress from Hatch is everything a girl like me could ask for! I’m wearing the Daniella dress which has a dramatic swing shape that is just to die for, and its merino/cotton blend are perfect for cold winter days! It’s also super stretchy which ups the comfort level! I’ve paired my dress with soft knit tights and a fun convertible backpack from Henri Bendel for a day out with my family!

So, here’s a BIG YES to maternity fashion! I can only recommend investing in a few maternity pieces that will make you feel comfortable and fabulous at the same time! What do you think?! Let me know by commenting below!

As always, thanks much for reading and have a fabulous Monday!

XOXO

Dear V., you look fabulous! So I say yes to maternity fashion! I loved this dress, with the swinging hem! So classy, so beautiful! I alsso loved the backpack! The colors of the dress and the backpack are really sweet! I tell you, a friend of mine loves maternity fashion – and she is not pregnant! So once I gave it a try, after she said we find very good pieces, and if one wants it a bit airier – and she was right! I bought a maternity top and it’s great! Hope you have a nice week, dear V., hugs and kisses!

Awesome! This might come in handy! I’m still wearing my own (oversized) clothes though it’s hard for me to wear trousers now :p Maternity wear seems like the perfect solution for this as my bump is also getting bigger and bigger hehehe! Glad you’re doing great, V! As always, you look gorgeous! xo, Vivian

How super cute is this dress on you?!! It looks super cozy and very chic at the same time, you can barely tell you are preggers. I also stuck with investing with a few good maternity pieces and was able to use the rest of my wardrobe minus anything super tight that is. Hope you are having a great week Vanessa and that all is well with you and your beautiful family! Love you, xoxo

Vanesssaaa! I love this look coz it shows one does not have to sacrifice on fashion/style when carrying a bun in the oven. Your outfit is all about balancing proportions, wide and roomy at the top and slim at the bottom, you look so youthful. Big Hugs Xx
