Driving along the California Pacific Coast Highway was perhaps one of the best experiences my family and I did together. It’s by far one of the greatest road trips in the world…, and my son LOVED every minute of it as well. He did amazing and I truly couldn’t be more blessed to share these precious memories with my family…

Over the past ten years, I was very lucky to have the opportunity to visit many of the towns and city’s along the Golden Coast. My husband is originally from California so, we enjoy going back to visit family and friends. But it wasn’t until this summer that we did the full road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco following Highway 1 coastal route the whole way with our 4 year old son.

 Words cannot describe how awestruck we were driving through big metropolitan cities, such as Los Angeles to tiny coastal towns, like Pismo Beach. The further we drove the more scenery changes we were able to experience: Gliding through redwood forests, major wine regions, marine wildlife, Spanish colonial sights, outdoor adventure opportunities, state parks, and even Hearst Castle. Not to mention the wonderful scenic views that will have you pulling off for impromptu ogling and photo ops all along the Pacific Coast Highway!

We stopped several times along the way because let’s face it: Who can really say “No” to these scenic views? They are breathtaking! We also stayed one night at Pismo Beach along our way to San Francisco, and even though, the beach was a bit colder than it was down in SCal — we enjoyed it nonetheless!

    I drove all the way through for 21 days, and i spent the holidays of a lifetime!!! Strongly suggested for honeymoon, i bet your other half will be very pleasantly surprised and this amazing road trip will even further make your love life more passionate !!!

    Wow, I had no idea that California had such scenic views like this, even more of a reason for me to visit with my family someday! Your son is going to be so cultured and well rounded because you and your husband are exposing him to such diversity at such a young age, which I feel is so important! It really instils in them a true love and appreciation of the world and all the beauty there is around!     Amazing , this must have been a great trip for you and your family ,driving down . I would love to see the Spanish colonial sights and ofcourse take pictures as well. I’ve been travelling around Europe my self for the past week now mostly by air and train but nothing beats a long drive that allows you to stop and see other place you drive past ,especially when you’re not the one driving …haha .
