There’s no doubt in my mind that we all want to take care of our skin, especially since it’s our largest organ and studies show that approximately 60% of what we put on our skin gets absorbed. I’ve been even more cautious of what kind of products I use ever since I got pregnant the second time around as well. Obviously I want the very best, so I was very excited when Nubian Heritage asked me if I wanted to review their beauty products. Known for not using any potentially harmful synthetic ingredients that may have an impact on our health and our environment, Nubian Heritage products do not contain Sulfates, Parabens, Phthalates, Paraffin, Gluten, Propylene Glycol, DEA, Silicones, Mineral Oil, Petroleum, Triclosan, Synthetic Fragrance or Artificial Color. They are also cruelty free, which I love.

I especially love using their bar soap. Formulated with rich, tropical ingredients high in vitamins, minerals and fatty acids, it really helped nourish my skin. My hands felt super soft afterwards and I enjoyed its gentle smell. Its organic Shea butter and coconut oil rehydrated my skin too—leaving it moisturized and renewed. Further, I prefer bar soaps since they benefit your body and the planet. Bar Soaps are more environmentally-friendly—there are no plastic bottles or containers to dispose of, am I right?! And Nubian Heritage’s bar is a simple classic, and it gets the job done. After each wash, your skin will instantly feel fresher and softer.

The deodorant is also made with natural, certified organic and fair trade ingredients, which I was pleased by. It lasts all day, and it’s very smooth. If you’re looking for a lightly fragranced deodorant that lasts 24hrs than this one is for you! Nubian Heritage’s skin-friendly deodorants contain natural and good-for-you ingredients that are just as good for you as they are at fighting odor and sweat! For more information on Nubian Heritage products click HERE, or visit your local Ulta Store. I promise you’ll love it! Remember: What makes this deodorant unique is that it’s perfectly safe for your skin while being effective in keeping you dry.

I love this brand and have actually used the lotion in this line, I had no idea they had a deodorant! I’ll definitely have to check that out because I’ve tried nearly every other organic and all natural deodorant out there and they don’t work at all for me, resulting in me going back to other brands that may not be as healthy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, beautiful, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!

This line looks and sounds amazing. It’s definitely something I would try, especially their deodorant because all the natural deodorants over here are awful.
Thanks for sharing with us. Have a great weekend Vanessa!

I’ve been thinking of trying out the deodorant but I’m wondering if it would be strong enough. I know it smells absolutely wonderful which is definitely a bonus.
