Do these images make you smile? Laugh even? If you’re not quite laughing yet please continue reading as I have a funny story to share regarding these images we took over the weekend. So,…picture me and my team heading to a laundromat. Sounds normal, right?! But instead of carrying laundry baskets filled with dirty clothes we come in with our entire photography gear ready to shoot in a packed laundromat (it’s Sunday!). The assistant on site knew right away: “These folks are not here to wash clothes”. It’s quite obvious and a bit embarrassing, I must admit. I got nervous and I actually approached her and asked her if it was OK to take photographs inside the laundromat. The poor lady must have thought I was crazy. But Instagram came to the rescue as I showed her some images on my phone of similar settings—all taken inside of a laundromat. Heck, even Vogue Magazine had several shoots inside the laundromat. It’s not just a silly “blogger thing” next to shooting inside of a grocery store pretending you’re buying a zillion chips, yep, those settings aka photographs are very popular on Instagram as well.
So, please, have a chuckle with me because…”laughter is like a vacation—it feels good!”

Haha I know what you’re talking about, I always feel embarrassed when I need to walk up to people and ask them if we can shoot in their establishment… and they look at my like I’ve lost my mind :)) These pics came out gorgeous and I love the smiles and positivity. We could all use more of that 🙂
