My Morning Self-Care Routine

Hair-Cuttery-Cibu-Argan Oil-Vanessa-Lanbert-What-Would-V-Wear

I truly believe that self-care is crucial to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself. As a mother of two I don’t always find much time for myself but there’s one thing I truly enjoy: Getting ready in the mornings—once my oldest son is in school and my little one is down for his nap. Want to learn more how I create a self-care morning ritual?! Continue reading and I will share some of my favorite morning rituals, hoping to inspire you!

Thank you so much to Hair Cuttery for sponsoring today’s post! While I was compensated, my thoughts and opinions are genuine and my own. Thank you so much for your continued support of the brands that help me bring you great content!

I truly believe that if I feel good about myself my family will feel good as well. It’s about loving yourself first. Once you do you can give love freely.

In the past I had such a hard time just getting up early in the morning but now with two kids sleep is very much non-existent. So, I knew that I needed a selfcare morning routine that will help set up my day and spirit to be the best it can be.

One thing that makes me happy is my hair. First of, yes, this is my REAL hair. I don’t have extensions, however, I do dye my hair (I’m not a natural blonde). To keep my healthy and strong I use Cibu’s Hair Mask. It’s a 10 Miracle Hair Mask to keep my ends healthy + it prevents breakage. Another favorite of mine is Cibu’s Argan Oil. It eliminates frizz and it helps keeping my hair soft and healthy.

If I’m done for another color job I’ll always make to visit Kacie at Hair Cuttery. If you aren’t familiar with Hair Cuttery, they’re a family owned and operated chain of hair salons all around the country. They offer cuts, styling, coloring, waxing and texturizing services and you don’t even have to make an appointment.

So, what’s my secret to staying happy, positive, and clear minded?

By waking up before anyone else helps my mind and mood. I take the time to do my hair and practice yoga each morning.

And even though I just started yoga—it honestly has been a game changer. My mind is clear and I can focus of my busy day ahead.

I totally agree with you, dear V.! Taking care of ourselves makes us feel emotionally good, not only physically! So good that you do that, ad now with Kingston at school, there is a bit of time for that – although not much, but always positive time! I loved the pictures, your hair is fantastic and you always look fabulous! Hope you have a very beautiful week, dear V.! Hugs!

I couldn’t agree more with how you feel about the importance of self-care. Now that I’m a mom, I’ve noticed that I’m my best self and best mom to Aviah when I take that little extra time to do the things that make me feel and look good and tending to my hair is one of them. I’ve heard of Hair Cuttery before, but never visited any of their locations before. I’ll have to see if they have one near me. Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a great week ahead!

Oh, how I envy your hair Vanessa, it’s so gorgeous, long and shiny! Pantene hair, or in this case Cibu’s hair? 😛 I started waking up earlier to do a bit of yoga and have time for breakfast, although sometimes I do struggle to get out of bed. I am so not a morning person, ha! Hope you have the best week, my beautiful friend

Vanessa, your hair always looks so amazing! I use argon after I wash my hair and I just love it. But now I’m think I need that mask in my life. Lol!
And I couldn’t agree with you more, self-care is so important. If you feel good about yourself than your family will too. Hope you’re having a great week.

Both Cibu products sound fabulous, I’ve got to try that hair oil! I’m out of my Moroccan Oil and need to find something to replace it. This sounds fabulous! Self-care is so important, especially for a busy mom like you! It’s wonderful you make it a priority to carve out time for yourself. It’s hugely important and I think ultimately makes you an even better mom.
