My Holiday Look

I’m so excited to be back! After taking a week off from social media to be with my family this Holiday Season I’m thrilled to announce that I have so many exciting projects lined up for the upcoming new year! Today I’m starting off with a cozy winter look which I actually wore to our Christmas dinner and to church. I’m obsessed with my grey metallic midi skirt—it’s been around for a few seasons but I still cannot get enough of it! The pleats create just enough flash while maintaining a daytime-friendly level of modesty, thanks to its longer hemline and full skirt.

How did you spend the Holidays? This Season I decided to take an entire week off which meant no to very little cell phone time. It felt amazing. I focused on my family and friends and I even got to read! As a working mother of two I oftentimes don’t get enough “me time” but last night both of my boys fell asleep early (Christmas tired them both out – LOL). I started reading Dan Brown’s new novel “Origin” and I love it. He’s one of my favorite authors and I literally couldn’t stop reading. I adore Dan Brown’s writing style, and his extensive use of history (I always learn something when I read his books). If you’re an avid reader like me than you should definitely check this book out.

My boys had a blast for Christmas! It was Jaxson’s very first Christmas and even though he couldn’t care less about opening presents he had fun nonetheless! Kingston, my eldest, on the other hand went wild! And yet nothing makes me happier but seeing their faces light up—pure joy!

What about you?! What are your Holiday traditions?

As always, thanks so much for reading & have a wonderful week!

Your look was amazing, dear V., the grey metallic choice is really beautiful! I loved the sweater, beautiful sleeved detail, and I am a fan of pleated skirts! The boots are fabulous and you look very beautiful, dear V., as you always are! So nice that you got to read Dan Brown and so sweet about your boys – Jaxson is still a baby, but Kingston understands Christmas very well! So sweet! I hope you have a very nice week, and later there’s NYE!!!!! You know I wish for you and your family health, luck, love, friendship and may all the nice projects come true! I am curious! Many hugs!

I love this outfit on you! You look gorgeous Vanessa! My Christmas was very laid back this year. Unfortunately, I learned my friend died on Christmas. He had stage 4 cancer. I wish I got to say goodbye! I’m glad your boys had a blast!

You look gorgeous on this metallic pleated skirt, Vanessa! So glad to hear you all had such a nice time over Xmas. I am also a bit more disconnected from my phone these days and focusing on eating, sleeping, reading and laughing. It feels good, but I didn’t want to miss the chance to wish my beautiful blogging gals out there the very best for the upcoming 2018. Thanks for your great inspiration and support this year, you are a star! Much love from Paris Xx
