Like everything else these days the bow blouse is hardly a new trend, in fact it was all the rave in the the 50’s. We’ve all heard of the pussy bow blouse (bow around your neck) but here I am before you, looking more eager than ever to tie that bow round my sleeves.
If you’ve been following me you’ll probably have noticed that I’ve worn quite a few blouses that were either blue, flounced or in this case had bows—hence very feminine. I must admit, though: At first I didn’t even notice that I’ve bought so many blouses in the color blue (indication that I’m a mama of boys only?!) and yet all of them had one thing in common: All these different styles and designs were somewhat retro and very “girlie”, as my husband would put it. This blouse certainly is and it looks amazing paired with jeans and it would make a great look for autumn layered with a vest as well, wouldn’t you agree?
