I wore this outfit one of my dates with my husband. We don’t get a chance to get out much since we’re one of those parents that would rather be with their children (no joke!) — but when we do we make certain that it’ll be a special day. Hence my husband and I went to see a musical, and later on enjoyed a nice Cuban meal downtown. And I must admit: It was nice. We were able to enjoy a meal without any interruptions, let alone watch an entire musical! You might think that’s funny, but all kidding aside, we can’t watch a 2hr movie in 2hrs, really. Our son likes to disturb us whenever he gets a chance. It’s cute — but we always end up watching a movie for about 4hrs which means I’ll  never make it to the end because I’m already asleep. Yes, I never make it past 9PM. Now that’s sad, isn’t it?!

Now back to this two-piece. Head-to-toe dressing has always been a favorite of mine, and with the warmer, almost summer like temperatures approaching, this little number is most definitely a winner. What do you think?!

    What a stellar find! Is that two-piece a romper? A shorts set? Who cares? It’s perfect for today’s heat and humidity in Chicago. And just right for a summertime date night. Edgy but elegant. Who knew shorts could do that? The peplum top and asymmetrical bodice kick it up a notch with unique lines. And the color is yummy. You look simply gorgeous.

    I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes to hang out with my kid. We usually dress ours in a bow tie outfit I get each year on Etsy and take him on our date nights with us. I love it! You look gorgeous in the matching separates outfit

    Ahhh I love this look so! At first I thought it was a jumpsuit but even better that it’s a two piece! You can wear each separate with different tops or bottoms if you wanted! Oh but I love them together!! Borg!

    I think its great that you and your husband find the time to do a Date Night. I’m not married but from what my sis (who is) says and the vibe I get from married friends etc: its so important for your man to not just see you as a mother, wife but as a Wo! Man: dress up, put that makeup on and show you still got it.
    I love that romper, the structural folds are divine. Xx
