I’m very much a city girl, it’s my personal haven for knowledge, culture, and social life. I tend to be on-the-go a lot but every once in a while my husband and I get a chance to simply stroll around our favorite city, and watch the world go by. Our son was born in Chicago, and for that matter Chicago will always hold a special meaning in our hearts. Continue reading, to learn more + to shop my look!

And since I’m a city girl wouldn’t it be justifilable wearing New York and Company‘s “The City – Spring 2016” Collection?! I paired my palazzo pants with a white blazer, and decided to add two belts to accentuate my waist. This look is very sophisticated, and yet perfect for a day downtown.

I’ve long been a fan of New York and Company, and their newest collections is just to die for! I love my palazzo pants, these super wide-leg, loose, flowing pants are not only super popular but they are making a huge comeback this season!

My palazzo pants are incredibly comfortable, and with the right styling, they can work for cold weather, too! I wore this outfit on a misty and somewhat rainy day but it worked!

Love the look – especially those belts against the simple white blouse. They make your waist look TINY! And the fuschia rose really pops against the black.

Dear V., I loved the palazzo pants, they are different – the pattern is great! – but I really really loved the belts! You look stunning, but that is an everyday thing, you always look fabulous! I’m very urban too, and some cities also mean a lot to me – so I totally understand why Chicago will always be important, your sweet son was born there! Hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs and kisses!

You look AH-MAZING, Vanessa! I love everything about this outfit and when I saw it on Instagram, I thought that was just one large waist belt, how creative of you to add two to create this effect! You’ve definitely inspired me to give this a try, as I do have a floral belt that’s quite similar to yours! Those pants are so pretty and look great paired with the short sleeved blazer, you look incredibly chic as always! Thanks so much for sharing, my beautiful friend, sending lots of love and a huge hug your way this Tuesday!

This is gorgeous! I love those pants and that belt, such a great touch to the outfit! Thanks for stopping by earlier and leaving a comment too, I am actually already a self employed, full time blogger so blogging is my business, I meant the rules are different between both countries and that it’s more popular in the US compared to the UK, so not everyone see’s it as a business as such, even though it is! Hope that makes sense!

This is why you’re so good at what you do, babe. That double belt thingy which looks like the most delightful Obi Sash in the world, makes a whole world of difference to the outfit. It MAKES the outfit 🙂

And speaking of being so cool, my weekly Friday link-up is live and on the blog now, babe, and I would love for you to come and share this outfit xoxo
