To me, autumn means whipping out all of my black outfits. All black never goes out of style and always, SERIOUSLY ALWAYS looks very pulled together, don’t you agree?! It’s one of those colors where you don’t have to think so hard about what you are wearing, and it’s fun! Hence 99.9% of the time it is my favorite ensemble during the colder months. Happy Monday! Glad you stopped by! I am all about classic, timeless pieces that will always stay in style and help you reinvent your staples year after year. Hence for today’s post I decided to pull some of my fashion staples.

I am wearing a polka dot blouse with an old pair of ripped jeans, and a classic trench coat. I love this classic – yet fun look, and it’s certainly casual enough to chase after my 3 year old son (by changing to flats, though!).

Happy Friday, lovelies!

 We’ve had amazing weather the last couple of days which gave us the opportunity to spend some quality time in our favorite city: C H I C A G O. Yes, I am very much a city girl! There’s nothing else I enjoy more but stroll around the city with my family, grab a cup of coffee on the go, and watch the world go by at Millennium Park.

I am wearing a lace dress from OASAP which I have paired with one of my favorite biker-esque jackets (which I have purchased a while back in Germany), and my cozy faux fur scarf from H&M! This look is super chic for a stroll downtown, and yet comfortable enough to have fun with the fam(ily)!

I have a healthy obsession with faux leather pants. They are edgy yet chic, and let me tell you: They are super comfortable! I received these faux leather pants from Bohme as part of our collaboration, and I am completely smitten! Faux leather pants are so versatile too – simply pair them with your favorite sweater, or a fun graphic tee and you are all set! I paired mine with a neon sweater (I still cannot let go of bold colors!), and my new MUST HAVE item for autumn: The Fedora Hat.

Warning: You will see me rock the fedora hat on several more occasions!
