Fall has officially arrived, and depending on the weather outside your door, it may be difficult to go full-on fall with cozy sweaters and suede over-the-knee boots. To get into the season without taking on the dark colors, I am telling you to try on B L U S H – yes, blush, not pink. Even if you aren’t a “pink girl,” take a look at blush options for fall. Think of blush as nude with a little warmth brought on by the pink tint, making it wearable for everyone. Blouses and dresses look especially chic, yet feminine and not in a girlie girl way (in case that’s not your thing). Blush also works with neutrals you already own like camel, black and navy. Today, I decided to go completely blush (both pants and sweater are from a recent Forever 21 purchase) while pairing it with one of my favorite faux fur vests. What do you think of this outfit? I would love to hear from you!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!

This past weekend I spent a gorgeous fall day playing dress up while my husband snapped away with our camera. Not only is my hubs an artist behind the lens but he’s got an eye for color pairings and a thirst for adventure. Lately we have been hunting down places to shoot because let’s face it: It gets boring looking at the same old backdrops over and over again, and I must admit: I love wall art and/or colored walls. They are the perfect backdrop to make images pop!

Anyhow, today I’m featuring a new favorite color of mine: Blush. It is such a warm and fun color, don’t you agree? I ordered this dress from OASAP because of its amazing color. Wait…You don’t feel comfortable wearing it because you think it’s too girly?! Or maybe you love the color but don’t like to wear it near your face if it doesn’t complement your skin tone? If either is the case, consider incorporating the color into your wardrobe through dresses, skirts or pants. Lose the excuse that you’re not young enough, confident enough, or too “creatively challenged” to wear this lovely color.  It can be as cool or as classic as you style it.  Make it work for YOU!

And before I forget:

I have an amazing coupon code for you! I teamed up with Mellow World to introduce you to their New Fall Collection 2014! Head on over to their website and get 10% off your purchase when you use coupon code: MW10VWEAR! Also, if you spend $75 you’ll get a FREE Tiffy Bag!

There’s something about a black & white ensemble, don’t you agree?! It is such a simple look yet gives it an immense amount of edge. I’ve been wearing a lot of color recently, so I wanted to mix things up by going with a more monochrome look today. I received this vest from a dear friend of mine, and as you probably know, I don’t have much patience for not wearing new items! One of my favorite things about this look is how the simplicity of colors juxtaposes with the backdrop color (literally found this wall by accident while strolling around downtown!).

As always, thank you for stopping by & a BIG THANK to Rachel for this amazing vest!
