This season I am opting for a pair of leopard-spotted booties, an easy, subtle way to rock animal print. Animal prints are set to be everywhere this fall. I like to embrace the trend in baby steps—strutting in style by working the animal print with my footwear.

As long as I can remember leopard print fashion has always been one of my favorites. In fact, I must own at least 10 pairs of different leopard print shoes. The leopard print fashion has been around since ancient Egypt and one thing is certain: The fashion industry is making it here to stay. To me, animal prints represents confidence, boldness and chicness. I am sure we can all agree that this print is bold but did you also know that it used to represent strength and dignity? Back in the day, the leopard print was worn during wars (Africa and France specifically) to signify power and strength. I thought this was so very interesting.

Leopard is the new black

Yes, you heard it right. Animal prints are the new black! Just like monochromatic colors, animals prints are chic and most importantly super versatile. The leopard print is a timeless classic that can be paired with most outfits. Whether it be the perfect accessory to a little black dress or the assistant to a red Hollywood glam look, it will make anyone feel confident. Animal prints an be styled up and/or down, for example, to have a casual look, try on some classic black jeans, a white tee, and add a pair of leopard print booties (just like me pair!) and you’d be all set!

    I adore the perspective you’ve taken on with these photos! The first one reminds me very much of Tezza. Do you know who/what I’m talking about! That being said, I think all of the photos corroborate perfectly with the message you are getting across. Fall is very much a time of new beginnings I find, and a time to try new things – espeically with your fashion. This whole year has been quite different for me considering I haven’t ever been one to opt for the prints, but considering they’re pretty much seen as a neutral now I’m all in!
