Over the weekend my family and I spent a night at the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront. We desperately needed a staycation. As a frequent reader of this blog you may know that we’re all about family time especially on the weekends. This being said when the opportunity came along to spend a night at the Wyndham’s Presidential Suite we knew that we couldn’t pass up on this amazing occasion. Chicago is not only our hometown but it truly holds a special place in our hearts.

I call myself lucky that we live so close to the water. We are surrounded by lakes—sailing is hence a must! What to wear on a boat toes the line between functional and stylish; knew I wanted to channel just the right amount of laid-back cool and chic.
