Spotting these pretty pink flowers make me incredible happy. It’s a great reminder that wonder is all around us. When our trees start to blossom I simply cannot help but be in of awe and surprise. Our society is so very busy—it seems most people are blind, unable to see the beauty that surrounds us. And yet all we have to do is to simply open our hearts and eyes.

I was sitting at my desk listening to SG Lewis when a moment of wonder was spliced into my night. I looked out the window and noticed the most beautiful half moon. It caught my eye and I heard myself say “whoa.”
An I have the same reaction every time I see all the trees blossoms in the spring.The taxonomy of wonder begins here, with the mere tickle of spring, with surprise and puzzlement, the epiphany, and finally to the awe. My “whoa” is a fairly modest claim to wonder. Do you know the feeling?! Feeling wonder means you are alive. You are moved.
It’s my desire to feel radically alive rather than bored and disinterested, or even worse, being blind to all the wonders all around us.
