 Happy white monochrome Friday!

 Clearly I have an obsession with mules. I bought this pair a couple of days ago after I have fallen deeply in love with my white mules from Forever21 (which I have worn almost every day if you haven’t noticed!). They are just so comfortable, and even though I’m drawn to wardrobe color I must say that it’s very refreshing to wear nudes and whites this season. My outfit is definitely white monochrome from head to toe except for my nude-colored mules. The nude tone is perfect if you want to elongate your body and create the illusion that you’re taller + nude mules are super-hot this season! Seriously, if you don’t own a pair yet you should definitely hurry up! I highly recommend getting a pair!

A few weeks ago I had the honor to work with Emily Charron & Blair Staky, the team behind Chicago’s lifestyle website Wandeleur to work on an exciting project titled “When Interior Design Meets Fashion“.

When talented luxury designer Donna Hall, and the team at Wandeleur asked me and three other Chicago bloggers if we wanted to take part in this exciting project I immediately said “Yes”.

Why?!

Because, besides fashion, I also have a love affair with interior design, I really do. When my husband and I purchased our first home together we took such pride in it to make it our own. We completely gutted our house ourselves, we put in new floors, painted the walls, and I even learned how to put in a back splash to our kitchen and bathrooms walls. Yes, if I wasn’t a fashion/jewelry designer I would most definitely be a interior designer. But enough about that.

It was truly exciting to explore Donna Hall’s newly-refreshed home. From Donna herself, “The overall approach was to honor the architecture of the early 1900’s but modernize it by adding elements of French Moderne period, hints of Miami Deco, and glimpses of the Hollywood Regency era.

It’s no secret here that I love a good LWD, and this one is just to die for! It’s definitely going to be my go-to summer dress! The detailing is just beautiful and I love that it has slip sleeves. Also, I don’t think you can ever go wrong with chiffon either. It’s a summer must!
