Over the weekend my family and I spent a night at the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront. We desperately needed a staycation. As a frequent reader of this blog you may know that we’re all about family time especially on the weekends. This being said when the opportunity came along to spend a night at the Wyndham’s Presidential Suite we knew that we couldn’t pass up on this amazing occasion. Chicago is not only our hometown but it truly holds a special place in our hearts.
I must admit when the boudoir-inspired trend came back onto the scene last fall, I simply couldn’t get enough. And lucky for me, I’m still loving the slip dress this fall. Living so close to cornfields got me inspired to have a photoshoot in a cornfield, and that’s just what we did! I know you won’t believe me when I tell you that I love the Midwest for its farm landscape. The colors this fall remind me of all the textures of a cornfield, the harvested fields, old barns and the depths of the endless fields.
