As we’re already half way through the year (while still battling the pandemic) I cannot help but wonder but when things are starting to get back to….what, normalcy perhaps? Work has been manic ever since the pandemic started, my kids are a delightful handful as we’re trying to go on a few social distancing adventures together to make their summer break worthwhile and last but not least I’m still trying to figure how to create meaningful content that doesn’t come across as “tone deaf”. I must admit that with our current world situation I simply lost most of my desire to post and/or promote products. My personal headspace isn’t even with fashion right now.
Ann Taylor is my go-to destination for wear-to-work clothing and accessories. All of their styles are sophisticated and versatile.
Six years ago I hit PUBLISH and my life changed. Today I am celebrating my six year blog anniversary and I am feeling emotional and yet overjoyed at the same time. While I must admit that it feels strange to “celebrate” during COVID-19—I am still in awe of where my digital space has taken me. I started What Would V Wear on a whim and big dreams. I set goals for myself, spent countless sleepless nights working on my content while working full-time until I quit my corporate job to pursue entrepreneurship. Six years later, I’m proudly self-employed. It’s been a wild ride but one I wouldn’t want to change for the world!
For weeks, the COVID-19 outbreak has impacted every part of our daily lives. Mine included. From going to the movies to visiting local restaurants, many of the activities we are used to are on pause. This drastic change has heavily impacted businesses in every part of the country. Today I would like to support a business I love and adore, Ann Taylor. Did you know that Ann Taylor has an amazing sale (60-70% OFF) going on until April 13, 2020? Plus they are working with Give Back Box where you can donate your gently used clothing and accessories to charities for free.
Today I’m shifting gears away from the COVID-19 pandemic and instead return to fashion again. I’m excited to lay out the top three denim trends to pay attention to.
