Happy Monday, Everyone! Wouldn’t you agree that fringe is an eye-catcher? Whether it’s on the sleeves of a leather jacket or subtly accenting the hem of a skirt, the long strands dance with every gentle breeze. And this fringe skirt is no exception. I will continue fringing on fall as long as we continue to have this wonderful weather, and no matter my mood, fringe is an embellishment that helps me express it.

I love the fun detailing of my fringe skirt, it’s fun and yet dramatic. Get your chic on with this fashion-forward trend, and let me know what you think of fringed skirts, jackets, and dresses. Fringing comes in all lengths and styles, so whether you go short and subtle or long and eccentric, there are plenty of ways to make this flexible trend work for your fashion persona.

PS: See you back here on Wednesday with an exciting post about my recent VOGUE Magazine collaboration to celebrate Inc International Concepts 30th Anniversary at Macy’s in Chicago.

Thanks so much for visiting & have a fabulous Monday!

Much love.

Suede is not just suede. It’s much more than the fabric – this plain ol’ borderline cowboy texture has the incredible ability to take us places and decades we’ll never go to (unless we time travel of course), while having the major fashion ability to be all at once. Suede is a statement and this grey suede skirt is no exception. This skirt blends with everything, making the outfit look retro sophisticated, while creating a head-to-toe understated glamour. I’ve paired my suede skirt with a simple cashmere sweater (it’s so soft!) and my favorite lace-up heels. As I have mentioned before: Suede and Burgundy are most definitely my fall must-haves!

Are you suede obsessed like me? Let me know by commenting below!

As always, thanks much for visiting and have a great weekend!

Much love.

Raspberry Red is the ultimate stunner shade. Red says confidence, power, and it’s darn sexy. If you are long-term reader of this blog you already know that my style mantra consists of wearing feminine and unique garments without compromising modesty. I believe in biblical principles hence I believe in wearing garments that are pleasing to God as well. We live in a society these days were modesty has pretty much disappeared, and it saddens me. Being beautiful and “sexy” does not mean that you have to show has much skin as possible.

Walk with confidence that says you know who you are, you know you are modest, and hey (!), you’re sexy!

The modest dress I am wearing today is from Dainty Jewell’s, a company that has has expanded not only as a modest clothing company but as a ministry for women all across the world who desire to present themselves as intentional ladies.

I simply love this delicate lace dress, from the length of the dress to the beautiful lace details. It really is a stunner, and it certainly proves that modesty is indeed sexy.

As always, thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!

Much love.

I am excited to announce that I have partnered with Uniqlo to introduce you to a new way of apparel. Known for their values of simplicity, quality and longevity, Uniqlo clothing is designed to be of the time and for the time.

I returned to Chicago this week after a much needed vacation in the Caribbean, and I must admit that I am quite happy to be back! Aruba was a lot of fun but I did crave pumpkin spiced lattes, and the comfort of a warm sweater every once in a while. Speaking of comfort, the clothing I am wearing today is beyond comfortable – just perfect for this beautiful fall weather in Chicago! My Uniqlo skirt features padded quilting and a fleece lining for amazingly soft, warm comfort. My sweater and coat are also from Uniqlo, and I just love the brand’s simplicity and quality. It is made with such modern elegance that it can easily become the building blocks of your personal style.

The brand started with one store in Japan in 1984 and has over 1,600 stores worldwide now, and guess what?! A Chicago store has been added! The Chicago store just opened this past Friday! Located at 830 N. Michigan Avenue in the historic Water Tower District, Uniqlo’s three floor, 60,000-square-foot store is the second largest in the country, after their flagship location on 5th Avenue in New York. If you are from Chicago, you should definitely pay a visit and explore their fall/winter collection too!
