Today I felt like wearing a jungle themed outfit due to the fact that Chicago finally decided to get warmer again and as I’ve mentioned before: I am so ready for spring, in fact, it can’t come here soon enough! I’ve been craving 70 degree weather like no other! Until then, though, I’ll continue wearing colors in the hope that it’ll bring out the sun some more!

Fun Fact: The pictures were taken at the Historic Heritage Museum and Log Cabin in Skokie, IL. The wooden house (I’m standing in front of) was built in the 1800’s, and a total of 8 children were raised in that house (NOTE: The house is teeny tiny)!

Happy Wednesday! Do you notice something about this picture? Perhaps you think it looks like fall rather than spring?! If so, let me assure you that we did take this picture yesterday! I know – unbelievable! Chicago had a really, really and I mean REALLY rough winter (that lasted forever too!) – hence the ‘background’ looks the way it looks…just blah! Nonetheless, I am ready for SPRING which I why I decided to wear my casual crop pants from Express! They are super comfy yet chic!
