Happy Tuesday, lovelies! I hope all of you had a great weekend! My family and I spent the weekend hiking through the hills of Livermore, CA. The view was just spectacular and NO (!) I didn’t hike in this outfit (I changed accordingly for the shoot). We went to Brushy Peak Regional Preserve which is a 1,702-foot landmark at the juncture of the San Francisco Bay Area, the California Delta, and the Central Valley. We really couldn’t have asked for a better day, and I must say: California, you are beautiful but Chicago will always be home.
As always, thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Wednesday, lovelies! Today I’m conquering my crop top fears! I’ve been secretly swooning over the cropped look but I was too shy (and too conservative perhaps) to actually wear it myself. Yet summer officially started and with scorching end of June temperatures, now’s certainly the perfect time to show a little extra skin, right?! To pull off this look I decided to pair it with these adorable, high-waisted F21 (how darling is the lace?!) shorts. This stylish piece is a must-have for every fashionista.
Anyhow, while you may think this is still a tricky or risqué trend to pull off, no worries! I will be wearing/featuring the crop top in a multitude of ways on the blog! Since crop tops are so versatile, I should be able to find a way to sport one in a way that’s comfortable for all of us!
As always, thanks for stopping by & have a fabulous day!

It’s super chic and yet plays with tradition to produce the best in chic weekend wear! To balance this look I decided to wear my gladiator sandals to help me carry through the season in style!

Dress: H&M (sold out, similar here and here) | Hat: Target | Sunglasses: Amazon (on sale!)
Happy Tuesday, lovelies! Today, I’m wearing H&M’s 2011 Conscious Collection Dress (which is made from 100 percent recycled polyester) on this sunny day! As part of H&M’s ongoing focus on sustainability, the Swedish fashion giant introduced the Conscious Collection back in April of 2011, a line of apparel for women, men and children, made from environmentally-adapted and greener materials such as organic cotton, Tencel® and recycled polyester. Honestly, I’m obsessed with this dress, it creates such a beautiful and romantic feel due to it’s lace and broderie anglaise.
PS: How fab is this sun hat? I purchased it at Target and I’m in love with it!
As always, thanks for stopping by and have fabulous day! See you back here on Thursday!
A little inspiration for your Monday morning! I love scallop shorts (you’ve seen me rocking a pair a few posts back)! I’m swooning over their romantic feel! What’s your trend alert for this season?!
