I love an easy slip-on tunic, and this one from ShopbellaC is so feminine and flattering. Tunic’s are so versatile – from laid back beach styles to dressier versions, the tunic truly is a must have in a fashionista’s closet. The weather here has been somewhat crazy hence this outfit called for a faux fur vest (+ I wanted to add an extra dimension). Not to mention, part of me just feels so luxe being wrapped up in soft, faux fur, and it keeps me warm!

As always, thanks much for reading but don’t leave just yet – because…

Happy Friday, lovelies! So happy you stopped by! Today is all about plaids! I’ve been wanting a plaid shirt for the longest time because when you find a good one, it can stay in your wardrobe for years. But the comfy cozy must-have, doesn’t have to be causal.  Paired with faux leather pants, a blanket scarf (told you I was obsessed!) and some sassy heels – a plaid shirt creates a great look for a fun night out. What do you think of my look? Tell me in the comments.

As always, thanks much for reading & have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Wednesday, darlings! Glad you stopped by! Today I’m layering it up with my new tassel scarf from OASAP. Chicago has been somewhat mild this winter which allowed me play a bit more with fashion. Like today. I loved walking around in my tassel scarf (which is reversible & has pockets!!), and by the way, it’s funny, the older I become the more I love scarfs. A few years ago I was certainly not a scarf-addict but now it seems that I have a bit of problem because I already own six! It’s crazy – I just love, love, LOVE them! But who cares?! Even if they will become “old fashioned” later on – we do know that “What’s old fashioned will become really cool one day again right?”

As always, thanks much for reading & have a great day!

Much love!

Since it’s Monday and we just finished a much needed weekend, I thought it was appropriate to post an outfit with one of the coolest sequined dresses ever made. It’s a fiesta in dress form — it’s shiny, it’s gold…simply a girls dream!  A dress like this requires very little in the accessories department: An equally bright bag, coordinating nude pumps and a spiky gold bracelet do the trick. But you probably wonder now…”This is a dress?!” Yes, it actually is (!) but I wore it as a top instead. Why? Well, Chicago’s weather isn’t warm enough yet to wear it as a dress only (it’s quite short!) hence I decided to pair it with a beautiful lace skirt. Hope you like it!

As always, thanks for reading & have a fabulous week!

Much love!

Destroyed Denim

I picked up these destroyed denim back in New York City when I visited Fashion Week two years ago. After the show(s) my girlfriends and I decided to go to SOHO for some shopping, and boy (!) did we go crazy! No sales tax got us especially giddy (we are used to paying 9% in Chicago sales tax!). Back then I was on the search for the perfect pair of destroyed denim, and got really lucky when we entered a tiny boutique just outside of SOHO. It really is the perfect staple for spring (I know it is still winter but HEY (!) – we had 43 degrees the last couple of days!) worn with a fun tee or chic top (in my case it’s a peplum top). My favorite way to wear distressed jeans is to combine it with edgy ankle booties, though. It’s ideal for when you want to look cool but not like you’re trying too hard. I added a funky statement necklace and fun vest as well (from NYC also) for even more edge because…Can you ever have enough edge?!

As always, thanks much for visiting & have a fabulous day!
