Winter Fashion_Wool Coat_Blanket Scarf_What Would V Wear

I won’t lie: Winter in Chicago can be is rough. I’ve lived in Chicago for about 10 years and I’m still not accustomed to below zero digits, however, there’s something beautiful seeing the snow fall soundlessly to the ground; it’s almost like our world turns into a snow globe.

blanket-scarf_What-Would-V-Wear

We took these pictures at the Chicago Botanic Garden, and as my family and I were strolling through the garden I thought to myself: “How magical the garden looks – being covered in this endless, heavy blanket of snow.” It’s beautiful, and yet it’s very deceiving. As pretty as it looks – we were weren’t able to stay for very long because, simply put, we froze to death.

Shop my look below – to keep you looking cute and staying warm all season long!

PS: Starting next I will officially start posting 4 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday). So, be sure to come visit for new exiting content!

As always, thanks much for reading and have a fabulous weekend!

Much love.

Completely agree! I don’t think I’ll ever get adjusted or be happy with this frigid weather, even though I was born and raised here! I love your Winter layers and your scarf looks so cute and warm on you!

I totally know what you mean, although our temperature here in Utah doesnt drop that low it still gets SO cold! But I do agree there is something magical about watching the snow fall ever so slowly down to the ground. My hubs and I sit on our porch with hot coco and just watch it after a long day, it is SO relaxing! Ps I am loving that coat and scraf combo so pretty!

wow, that’s really a lot of snow ๐Ÿ˜€ I think we here had more luck with the weather this winter….Today the first time it was really cold (below 0 degree) here…And everyone just freezes and complains ๐Ÿ˜€ But compared to chicago we don’t have any reason to complain ๐Ÿ˜€ I have to visit chicago some time ๐Ÿ™‚ But since I’m freezing with temperatures below 20 degrees I think I have to choose summer for a holiday there ๐Ÿ™‚
No matter how cold it is, you look so stunning here, as usual ๐Ÿ™‚ I love that elegant coat, so feminine and classy and the scarf gives the whole look a fabulous and unique touch ๐Ÿ™‚ The patterns are so gorgeous in this color combination ๐Ÿ™‚ Just perfect for the cold days ๐Ÿ™‚
Wishing you a happy sunday and hope you’ll have a fabulous start into the new week <3

You look amazing in this outfit Vanessa. That scarf is most definitely a must have this season, it’s radiant yet warm.
So sorry about the freezing weather. Though winter outfits are all so cute and fuzzy, the weather can be unforgiving. Hope it’s almost over. Having lived around the equator my entire life, I doubt I would survive even a week of winter without being bed ridden…..but I’ll adore your clothes either way.

Have a great week ahead. Lots of love from Nairobi.
