The 70’s were a time of change in fashion, and some of the styles that were worn then are so similar to the styles today. This 70’s outfit is perfect for fall! Leather, silk, high boots, and a beret are perfect for any fall day!
Shop my look
Leather skirts are perfect for fall, and I simply can’t resist them! They have a gorgeous look and feel, and the options to dress them are nearly endless! Leather can have so many shades and colors, which makes it absolutely perfect, especially for fall! Fall time is the perfect occasion to wear any brown or earthy tones, and leather incorporates that tone into an outfit perfectly! This season, try pairing leather with a cute top, maybe like the one I’m wearing, or a simple shirt, and some OTK boots!
Pussy bow top
This top is perfect for so many reasons. The emerald green is an amazing pop of color, and how cute is the horse print by the way?! My blouse is super silky and literally screams fall, wouldn’t you agree? The pussy bow is probably my favorite part because it truly ties the look together! This top is soft, and comfy + gives this look the 70’s vibe it needs!
Over the knee aka OTK boots
Over the knee boots are the trend of the year, and I’m totally living for it! They compliment any outfit, and even have the ability to add a tiny touch mystery to an outfit. I chose these burgundy boots because I loved the color combo of burgundy and emerald together.
I finished off this look with a tan colored beret, because what says fall more than a beret, am I right?! Hats are perfect for fall, and I could not resist adding this one to this outfit. Another hat option could be this corduroy engineer cap— they very in style at the moment and they add an excellent finish to any outfit.
How you dressing up for fall? To me, fall is the perfect time of the year to switch up your style and step out of your comfort zone! I absolutely loved wearing this 70’s look, and I am looking forward to mixing it up even more! There are so many options to style leather skirts, silk tops, etc. But now it’s your turn to explore! Happy fall, and stay groovy!
