I’m certainly not one of those who suffer from the neon kick because I’m addicted. This neon sweater makes me happy every time I wear it because I love bright colors that adds a jolt of energy to my day! While it may seem like a daring color choice, it’s surprisingly easy to wear. I bought this sweater last year, and it has already become a staple in my closet.

For today, I paired my sweater with a faux leather fringe skirt to create a rather rocker chic look. I debated whether to add any accessories as I was afraid it might be too much, but fortunately this statement necklace by Kay K Couture just coordinated perfectly and added the perfect amount of bling!

As always, thanks much for reading & Happy Monday!

Much love!

Smell The Roses

We live in such frantic times, moving from one thing to the next without really concentrating on anything in particular. Our minds become restless – yet we have so many opportunities to be generous and inspire each other. Today’s post is all about “smelling the roses”, and how the birth of my son, Kingston taught me to appreciate just how precious life is. When Kingston was born everything had changed. As a new parent, you learn that the cliché everyone tells you is actually true: It goes so fast. My son will turn 4 this year and I cannot help but be astounded by this simple fact. I get teary eyed just thinking about it because I don’t want this experience of raising Kingston to race by. I want it to drag on, deliberately, definitively, and perhaps forever.

I want to enjoy being a mother. Being a mother is the BEST life has to offer. It has taught me to live my life with compassion; to be kind to myself so I can be kind to others.

So, let’s make today count! Let us stop, and “smell the roses” together, as they say, because right now is the only time we will ever have. Let’s make the most of it.

Have a great weekend.

Much love!

I may have gotten a little carried away with pictures today but this skirt had me swooning. They are by far the most feminine and sophisticated clothing item in anyone’s closet, really. I especially love the long hemline and the volume to this skirt; and I must admit: I am yearning for Spring already! Hence I added these beautiful pink flowers to my outfit to create the feeling of Spring at last!
As always, thanks so much for dropping by & have a fabulous day!

Much love!

It’s still chilly in Chicago but I cannot help but think of spring and what I’m going to wear. White jeans are so perfect for spring, and as impatient as I am, I decided to revive this late 90’s trend for today’s look.

Further, I would like to THANK YOU all for your tremendous support and love! My limited jewelry collection was such a success that I decided to have another one coming out this March! All of you are so precious to me, and I am truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people! Also, please continue to email and/or comment here on my blog because I really LOVE to hear from you! Speaking of emails…I received a lot of emails regarding my druzy rings, and I am sorry to say that I no longer have any left. I am completely sold out, and I won’t be making any more. I only have 1 purple bracelet and 4 pear shaped bracelets left. To shop click HERE.

As always, thanks much for reading & have a great day! I love you all!

Happy Friday, lovelies! I am excited to introduce you all to Nikki Poulos, a fashion designer known for her love of vintage-inspired styles, graphic prints and bold colors. Nikki’s designs have been featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Elle, Lucky and Fitness magazines, and she was a designer on the NBC prime time TV show “Fashion Star”. As you can probably imagine…I was quite thrilled when the team at Nikki Poulos asked me if I wanted to collaborate with her.

I am wearing Nikki’s graphic print jacket which is such a fun piece! It reminds me of spring which by the way (!) can’t come soon enough! To finish off the look I have decided to pair it with a gorgeous peplum top which my mom recently got me (she’s the best!) and faux-leather pants. I have also added some fun accessories to my modern boho-chic look. I am currently head over heels in love with Kay K Couture and Mellow World Handbag. The necklace and earrings are just to die for, and my handbag is just the perfect size for your every day wear. You should definitely check them out!

As always, thanks much for reading & have a wonderful weekend!

Much love!
