Sleek and sophisticated monochrome is still a favorite of mine. Life may not be black and white, but I’m a different story. This season, I’ve been experimenting a lot — from colorful designs, fun prints to this classic color combo to offer a fresh take on my personal favorite.

I love the fact that wearing black and white comforts me, it’s almost like a haven on days where I feel uninspired and tired. Yes, I even have days where I feel down. I often remind people that social media is not my real life, and that behind each beautiful curated photograph is a person with emotions and feelings. People tend to forget that. Nothing is always black and white, just as the saying goes.

    This is such a lovely pairing, Vanessa! I adore that skirt and those sunnies especially! I know, sometimes it can be so easy to forget that not everything we see in photos that SEEM reflect a “perfect” life is actually a true depiction. We ALL have our ups and downs and I agree, black and white is definitely a go-to when I don’t feel really feel inspired. It’s so easy, yet always polished!
