Chicago is known for many things including our unique style. I would definitely define my style as urban while embracing my European roots and chicness. I try to think outside of the box and also experiment with different styles. For today’s look I went big—a chunky, oversized knit sweater paired with a chic metallic skirt and I was all set. It’s finally fall hence bring out all of your cozy knits!
I’m in for some cozy, oversized knits this fall. As much as I love summer, I can’t help but love fall fashion, especially cozy knits. There’s something about a giant, oversized pullover on a sunny autumn day in the city. Strolling around with a chai latte in one hand and a my DSLR on the other is almost nostalgic. Discovering new places to shoot is probably one of my favorite activities. It gets my creative juices flowing, literally. Chicago streetstyle has much evolved over the last couple of years. I see all kind of different styles on the streets—I can honestly “peoplewatch” all day long because I find it so very fascinating how we express ourselves through our clothes.
I always say that people are no different than us a glimpse of our feelings or of who we are. Clothes aren’t just clothes. It’s a reflections of our true self. Wouldn’t you agree? I would love to hear your thoughts!
