Wouldn’t you agree that denim is a versatile and timeless fabric?! I’ve been going denim-on-denim for a while, there’s something about this monochrome look. Today I am sharing how you can pull of denim-on-denim while giving you a few dos & don’ts.
DO: Play with Colors
If you are to scared to be all “match-matchy” my advice would be to experiment with different colors. Try pairing different shades of denim together, like white jeans and a blue denim jacket, or black jeans and a chambray shirt. It’s almost impossible to go wrong this way.
I have a thing for distressed denim and I must admit that most of my pairs have rips. I’m pairing my distressed jeans with a simple denim jacket (same hue).
DO: Dress up Your Double Denim
Add statement heels to your denim-on denim look or how about adding a bold red lip?! Make your outfit pop by bringing your double denim to life!
DON’T: Wear Denim Accessories
Since you are already wearing double-denim don’t overdue it by adding jean accessories! That would be a big “No”.
DON’T: Stay Away from Western
Let’s face it: You don’t want to look like a cowboy so it’s best to stay away from Western.
