I adore denim skirts and I’m so happy that the denim skirt trend returned! From denim skirts, to flared bottoms you simply cannot help but see the denim trend everywhere.

Fun fact: I used to wear denim skirts as a child, and sort of despised them as I got older. But now many brands released such wonderful styles by adding modern touches to them that I’m right back where it all started. From the classic 90’s vibe, to pencil skirts, skater skits and more – with their new modern twists, you won’t feel dated or out of place!

And before I forget: I’ve designed new bead bracelets, and a couple of days ago I’ve asked you on Instagram whether or not you would like to see my druzy creations on beads and/or wire bracelets. So far, beads are a winner but I would like to hear from you here too! I’m wearing the bead and wire version above.

    I think my personal preference for the bracelets would be wire… but the beads are so cute too! I don’t know if I could choose. I love the length of your denim skirt, Vanessa. The cut is so flattering. You look gorgeous, love!

    You look absolutely beautiful in dark denim and red, the colours stand out beautifully on you. This look has a very Parisian feel to itI love it!s
    I like really like both version of the bracelet – the beaded ones on the one hand are an unexpected look, which can be refreshing . But also the wire ones are equally as chic. Tough call! lol I think both of them would make great adds to your collection. Can you make them both?

    First of all, I was exactly the same as a child. Hated denim skirts but now really want my hands on one.
    Secondly, I love love love your brackets. I actually really like both bead and wire looks. It’s the gems themselves that do it for me.

    This outfit is of such great contasts. I remember having fun denim skirt as a kid to, but not any after until I was pretty much grown teenager. And I also make beads jewellery, but I never tried to make anythingg out of wires, so I’d love to see more of that, it looks amazing .)

    Vanessa, you look absolutely beautiful! You’ve styled that skirt in such a way that it really reads chic and classy, I love it! One of the trends I’ve been loving this season is the buttoned up skirt trend and I love it incorporated in your denim skirt.

    It’s crazy, growing up as 90s kids, we’re seeing all the pieces we’ve worn as a children become popular again, from bodysuits, to jelly shoes; it feels as though many of us are reliving our childhood through fashion, which is pretty cool!
