Of all the boot trends rising to the surface this fall/winter, there is one particular pair that is stealing the show like no other: Duck boots, and I must admit: I did know much about them until I would see them pop up on my social media feed over and over again. Seeing them on my feed on a regular basis only increased my desire for these boots hence my personal hunt begun. I looked everywhere, and at last I got lucky! I had no idea how hard it was to get a pair! Most of the stores were sold out so, I recommend buying some now before they are all gone again!

I wore these boots last weekend while we took our son to the Field Museum. We tend to walk a lot while we are downtown so, these boots were/are a must! They are so comfortable, and I really mean it! These boots are just perfect – like heaven for your feet!

    Dear V., how lovely to take Kingston to the Field Museum, it’s so nice when kids develop the curiosity and love for things that mean and meant so much in the world! I wasn’t very keen of museums till some years ago, and now I am obsessed!     I had no idea that boots like that were in such high demand. I just associate them with the colder months and thought they were a readily available staple. Who knew? Love the overalls too.

At first when I saw people wearing them I wasn’t too big of a fan but they have grown on me now and if you say they are comfortable then I believe you!     I feel like if you really want to avoid slipping on ice or in snow, duck boots are probably your best bet. Uggs and wells just don’t cut it. I definitely would love a pair for harsh winter weather.
