Enjoying My Last Few Weeks of Pregnancy

Enjoying My Last Few Weeks of Pregnancy

I’m 38 weeks and the final countdown has begun (if I haven’t given birth already since I’m writing this a week in advance). I must admit: The last few weeks of pregnancy are definitely the hardest—the anticipation has been killing me and the pain has been out of this world. So, as I sit here I cannot help but wonder: Baby J when will you make your big entrance?!

As I’ve mentioned above the last weeks of pregnancy are rough. I continue to wake up in the middle of the night unable to fall back as asleep, and finding a comfortable position in which to sleep when you are nine plus months pregnant is almost impossible. I’ve had sharp rip pain for the last few weeks and it’s been killing me. Apparently having rip pain is normal though. Your baby is pushing and moving inside of you—and frankly: It’s getting cramped in there. I tend to think that I’ve “dropped” but I’m not quite sure since I always tend to carry like this, i.e. looking like I ate a basketball.

So, here I am still pregnant…daydreaming when Baby J will make his big debut! I seriously cannot wait and share this new chapter with all of you! And before I forget: Thank you SO much for your sweet messages throughout my entire pregnancy! They truly meant a lot to me and my family!

We love you!

You’re mentally and emotionally preparing me here with this post, my friend, haha. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it is right now. When I’m laying in certain position, Baby A immediately starts kicking if she doesn’t like it and prompts me to move, which is now to the right side, the side I don’t prefer to sleep on, sigh. I hope the pain will be alleviated as you get plenty of rest and I’m sure your mom, hubby, and Kingston are so excited to help and meet Baby J! Sending lots of love your way, beautiful, and again, get plenty of rest!

I am sorry that the pain is bad… but now it’s nearly the end of the pregnancy, soon Baby J will be in your arms, maybe even now, as I write? Hopefully! I am sure that you are excited to have him in your arms and we are eager to see him, and to know that the pain is finally gone! But on the other hand, you look so beautiful and feminine, it’s so true when people say that pregnant women look really amazing! I hope you have a splendid day, dear V.! Hugs and kisses!

I feel you sister! At 34 weeks I am dying to meet my baby girl, who is also baby J haha But you look incredible!! I am sorry about the rib pain, I had that for quite some time and found that facing a wall with your nose almost touching it and stretching your arms high above your head with your fingertips on the wall slowly inching upwards really helps relieve the pain and pressure on your ribs. Hope that helps mama and sending love & prayers your way for a healthy successful delivery.
