Listen and you’ll hear peace and nature. As you already know—nature is my happy place. I’m excited to be back home in the Midwest even though we’re packing our bags again for our next family adventure: We are heading to Europe!
Summer is my favorite season. I love being outdoors. Being able to spend all day outside, going to the beach or enjoy a picnic is what I’m all about. My heart is full +did you know this is also the first time my son’s officially on summer break from school?! Seeing him enjoying is break from school is truly special! He had so much fun already but the best is yet to come: We are going to Europe! First up we’ll be visiting my family in Germany, followed by trips to Spain and/or Italy (my husband and I go back and forth!) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam). I’m glad we get travel together. My family used to do the same when my brother and I were little. Being able to smell foreign air even at a young age is hopefully something they will never forget.

These photos are so wonderful and it’s quite refreshing I must admit to hear that someone still loves nature so much! I think we get so caught up in the online world sometimes that we forget about some of the really beautiful things in life, such as huge oak trees or blush peonies. These are the things that will always be there no matter what happens and things that we can always rely on. Your European travels sound wonderful! I must say, I am quite jealous 🙂 It’s been a while since I’ve been to Europe since I’ve been doing so much traveling around Eastern Asia, but I really must get back soon since Europe is my happy place.
