Happy Friday, everyone! First of, don’t be fooled by these pictures. It looks sunny out, and there’s absolutely no snow on the ground – but let me tell you: It was freezing outside! We took these pictures really quick, and we literally jumped back into the car to get some coffee from Starbucks to warm us up afterwards. I mean, it’s brutal. It seems the cold bites into my bones which leaves my whole body sore – I’m not even kidding. It’s that bad. So, here you have it: The life of a fashion blogger. My husband thinks it’s pretty hilarious even though he’s out with me shooting.

But let’s get back to fashion. This coat is a lifesaver. It keeps you warm without looking like a good old duster. I’ve paired it with some faux leather leggings and my favorite red booties (which are under $40!). They make such a great statement, don’t you agree?

How do you stay warm during winter?

As always, thanks so much for visiting & have a great weekend!

Much love.

Vanessa, I love EVERYTHING about this post. First off, I love the scenery, with the movie theater in the back ground, giving off a city feel, which looks perfect with your outfit, which brings me to my next point…how much I adore this look! That coat is stunning, it’s certainly not the average puffer coat, way too chic! I love the fur contrast, which really adds that perfect touch of glam to the look. I also love the way it looks paired with the leather leggings and those stellar red booties!

Thanks so much for the inspiration, beautiful! I hope you have a warm, cozy and relaxed weekend, my dear friend; sending lots of love and a huge hug your way!

Stylish way to keep warm! Love the jacket and the touch of red. I find it hard to stay warm and stylish in Swedish winter, but I hope to get better with time. It’s all about layering 🙂

Me encantan las combinaciones de rojo y negro y sobre todo los zapatos rojos, es un look genial, pero además ese abrigo me encanta.

  31. January 24, 2016 / 7:15 PM

I love the combination of the faux leather leggings ( I really need to get some!) and those red boots!

You are so brave to go out in that cold weather we had. I could not bring myself to make my husband take photos during it. I waited until this weekend when it finally warmed up. You have a wonderful husband. I love your coat. It looks nice and warm. I love the fur on the top half. I’ve never seen anything like it. Also your red booties are fantastic as well and I love the price. Hope you had a great weekend!

  33. January 24, 2016 / 10:35 PM

Your husband is such a darling for being supportive! It looks so sunny, it wasn’t until you explained that it was cold that I stopped wondering about the winter post. You look ravishing!! The red boots add pizzazz to the whole look, the faux leather leggings are such a show stopper, they look so cool by the way and the coat is such a statement piece because of the patched faux and its length. You are such a vision, I can’t stop staring!!

  34. January 25, 2016 / 7:42 AM

oh vanessa, I LOVe that look from head to toe 🙂 That jacket looks so warm and cozy and I’m sure it keeps you so warm :3 I love the little details of it, so unique and perfect 🙂 And the leather leggings give the whole look a little rocky touch 🙂 Which is just perfect with the red heels (red and black is always a perfect rock-glam combination in my mind *_* ). Always so excited to read and see your posts , wishing you a wonderful monday and a lovely week ahead 🙂

  35. January 26, 2016 / 12:05 AM

I love the way your husband is your parnter in crime and is willing to brave the cold with you to do what needs to be done, thats looooooove! Those cherry red boots are everything, they all but light up the streets when you walk! Hmmmm how do I keep warm, well I have a matching wool hat, scarf and gloves that are a must for me when I leave the house! I looove that coat of yours: black and red looks fab on you! x

  36. January 26, 2016 / 7:11 AM
