There are only two fabrics to contemplate adding to your wardrobe this season and that’s suede and velvet. They are both major trends this season!

Before I headed to Fashion Week I went to Neiman Marcus to buy a few things (I desperately needed fall clothes!) and it didn’t take me long to decide that I wanted suede and velvet. Both fabrics are so much more than just fabric, don’t you think? This plain ol’ borderline cowboy texture, aka suede, has the incredible softness and chicness to it no other fabric has—except for velvet. Both are major fall staples.

I wore this look meeting up with my ladies, Audrey and Hollyn. We shot on the Brooklyn Bridge which was incredibly fun (check it out HERE) + I need to give a big shout out to my assistant Allison. She was such a trooper on this trip and I’m forever grateful that we found each other. She took most of these pictures with such patience and grace.

While in Brooklyn we also visited 29 Rooms, a museum of immersive and interactive art installations. It was definitely worth the trip!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by & have a great Wednesday!
