Today I decided to delve into the world of office fashion. Besides my fashion blog I have a full-time cooperate job, and Megan, a reader, recently emailed me asking me what I wear to work. My answer? Pencil skirts, and the good news is that they are super flattering on most body types! You just need to get the fit, style, material, and closure that best suits your body. However, I recommend that you always try on your pencil skirts in the store – because sizes do vary by fabric. Also, you may want to walk around in it to test how comfortable it is because let’s face it: The pencil skirt should most definitely be your most comfortable, go-to piece of office attire.

I so agree! Finding the right pencil skirt for work is a must. The bend and snap test is a must as well. I have to be able to walk around and sit comfortably, also making sure that it’s not too tight. That’s always my problem with faux leather skirts, but I like how yours has just a strip down the sides. Absolutely darling! 🙂

I love houndstooth printed anything (coats, scarfs, handbags), in this case a blouse! What I also love about this look is the blast of color u added w/ that ‘hello yellow’ clutch!
