Over the weekend I headed to the city to check out the Samsung Studio at Navy Pier, a one-stop experience of mobile connectivity, where you can try out Samsung’s latest devices such as the Galaxy S8 and S8+, Gear VR with Controller and Gear 360. If you were able follow along on my Instagram stories then you’ll probably know how much fun I had dancing and filming with a 360-degree camera! I seriously had the best time stepping into a world of cutting-edge technology!

As a full-time publisher I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a good camera on your smartphone. I take tons of pictures on a daily basis, whether it’s work related or me simply being a mom taking tons of pictures of my boys. I was literally on the floor when I learned about this. Gone are the days where I have to carry my heavy DSLR camera around—now I can have the power and precision of a DSLR camera right in my pocket or purse with the Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphone!
Built with a bright F1.7 lens and large 1.4 pixels to capture more light when there’s not enough around, I guarantee that you will always get amazing shots—even at night. And speaking of my phone camera…if you’re like me and use your phone a lot (taking pictures and/or social media), you probably run out of battery life all the time. While doing some research (before I got the Galaxy S8+) I knew that I needed a phone that had great (and I mean great) battery life. Luckily, the Galaxy S8+ is as efficient as I am, thanks to the innovation of the 10nm processor that runs on 20% less power. I’m able to use my Galaxy S8+ longer with each charge because “the better-performing processor
means a more efficient use of battery life.” And with wireless charging and fast charging capabilities, charging the battery is also easy and convenient.
Last but not least: as a constant traveler my Samsung Galaxy S8+ is able to translate foreign languages right from my phone. Can you believe it?! Bixby—Samsung’s intelligent interface built into my Galaxy S8+––is most definitely my new best friend!
