Glitter, shine, sparkle, twinkle and shine! That is my message for Winter 2017. Sequins continue to be a huge trend this season and I’ll be sure to take advantage of it!

While the weather in Chicago might be unpredictable, one thing remains constant, though: Sequins. They are major this season. I’ve been dying to wear this sequin top for a while but haven’t had a chance yet. Initially I wanted to wear it before New Years but as the saying goes: Sometimes pregnancy takes all of your energy away. Now you may think that sequins are only good for a night out, but you should think again! Why not try something new and consider daytime sequins? How can you make sure you do not go overboard? It’s very simple: Match it with a basic or classic piece of clothing, like a metallic midi skirt and a cozy faux fur vest to complete your look.

    I am still doubting wether I should buy a black pleated skirt. I own one in gray. I love them. You look absolutely stunning in this outfit!Love the different textures!

    I love sequins although I’ve never owned anothing with them I always wanted them for NYE or Christmas but never seemed to get round to getting anything. Never mind I can look at your pretty pictures for hope haha.

    You are so right, dear V., the sequined top is so cool and beautiful, you should wear it anytime and the way you wore was really “edel”, with the vest and the lovely pleated skirt! Loved the beanie too, it’s such a stylish outfit and you look really stunning! That could be a nice outfit for a night out with friends or a date and I will really look for a top like that – I really loved it!     I really love these shots! I definitely want to invest in a sequin piece myself, a little glitter really makes an impact!
