It’s getting warmer outside, there’s a change in the air, and I couldn’t be happier. I swear I have caught it like it’s a cold, I joke about it, and I cheer to it when the first outdoor opens up since winter’s leave, it’s called spring fever.
No, I dn’t have an actual fever. I am just so excited for the warmer weather. I’m finally able to wear skirts again and grab an iced latte! The sun feels good…if it only stayed this way. Just this past weekend we got lots of snow again. Ugh. I thought we were over but boy (!) I was wrong. Very wrong. It seems every April we get a least one snow storm. Something I still cannot seem to get my head around. 12 years in IL and I’m still not used to it.
Spring makes me happy
Maybe it’s that extra dose of vitamin D from all that springtime sunshine! The sun gives me an extra energy boost and seeing my tulips grow gives me so much joy as well! I’m happier, and I find myself smiling, whistling, being nice for no reason, and heck, I’m even clicking your heels on the street corner.
