Summer Beach Bag Essentials

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Hair Cuttery. The opinions and text are all mine.

Going to the beach every weekend has become a summer ritual. It’s my escape from the hustle and bustle that helps me reset my mind. I love listening to the waves (it’s quite therapeutic for my happiness) and watch my kids play in the sand and water. At home, I have a beach bag that’s on standby for me to grab & go. Over the years, I’ve perfected the items I need to take with me to the beach so I’m ready to go at a moment’s notice.

If I am going to spend a long day in the sun, I make sure that I wash my hair with Redken’s Frizz Dismiss Shampoo and Conditioner + I always apply my Redken Frizz Dismiss mask afterwards. It helps to keep my hair healthy and frizz free. To further protect my hair I make sure that I wear a hat (to cover and protect my scalp).

What to Pack in Your Beach Bag

Whether you’re planning a beach day in the near future or still mastering your ideal beach tote, here are some of the essentials I bring along as well as a couple items that help make my beach experience more enjoyable.

  • SPF
  • Beach Towel
  • Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo/Conditioner and mask
  • Beach Hat
  • AG Hair Care Tousled Texture (Body & Shine Finishing Spray)
  • BB Cream (Hair Primer)
  • Cibu Gel (I sometimes I add a little gel if I wear my hair in a pony tail so my front hair pieces stay in place)

Pull together some of these beach bag essentials and tuck them into a super cute beach tote for the perfect summer gift for birthdays, brides, or your beach bound buddies.

I’m never leaving the house without my Redken products, my hair feels so soft and vital. A good SPF is important too, I don’t want to be too exposed to those sunrays.

I wish I lived close enough to the beach to have a bag ready with essentials. But I do have a trip planned in about 2 weeks and am going to definitely look into some of the Redken Frizz Dismiss and maybe the BB Cream for hair (who knew?). I just love that top you’re wearing! Thanks for the suggestions….I’m definitely taking a bit hat!

I hope your summer is going awesomely!

Thanks for sharing this! I don’t go to the beach very often so I always end up forgetting something.

Hi Vanessa, thanks for sharing the must-have beach bag essentials. Without SPF, hat, and other things you’ve mentioned, we can’t think of hitting the beach. I would also like to share something related to beach.
