Shooting in this red lace dress was quite magical. We took these pictures atNorth Point Marinawhich is one my favorite places. I love the idea of coming here, and relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, or even just from your day to day life. And this lace dress couldn’t have been more perfect for this occasion. It’s whimsical and beautiful – just like the marina itself. It’s glamorous, and only shows the perfect amount of skin with those skinny shoulder straps. I also love its jour-échelle panels that define your waist so nicely.
Random side note: Lately, I’ve been struggling with the “bloggers block“. I’ve been uninspired, and I didn’t feel like taking pictures at all. It is extremely frustrating. Have you ever experienced it? If so, what helps you to get out of it? I would love to hear from you!
As always, thanks much for reading & have a fabulous Monday!
Have you been craving the high-slit tunic trend? I certainly have! I finally got mine from Nordstrom over the weekend! I’ve always been a fan of chiffon, and this plaid chiffon tunic is just to die for! Simply put: It’s easy breezy…beautiful!
On a different note, I currently have my best friend visiting me from Germany – hence I’ll be playing tourist in my own city for the next couple weeks! Make sure to follow our adventures on Instagram!
Sending you all much love & thank you for stopping by!
When talented luxury designer Donna Hall, and the team at Wandeleur asked me and three other Chicago bloggers if we wanted to take part in this exciting project I immediately said “Yes”.
Because, besides fashion, I also have a love affair with interior design, I really do. When my husband and I purchased our first home together we took such pride in it to make it our own. We completely gutted our house ourselves, we put in new floors, painted the walls, and I even learned how to put in a back splash to our kitchen and bathrooms walls. Yes, if I wasn’t a fashion/jewelry designer I would most definitely be a interior designer. But enough about that.
It was truly exciting to explore Donna Hall’s newly-refreshed home. From Donna herself, “The overall approach was to honor the architecture of the early 1900’s but modernize it by adding elements of French Moderne period, hints of Miami Deco, and glimpses of the Hollywood Regency era.
Get all the scoop, and tap into the insight of Donna Hall’s apartment HERE and be mesmerized.
As always, thanks much for reading & a BIG THANK YOU to the amazing team at Wandeleur and to Donna Hall who was kind enough to share her living space with us for a day.
It’s no secret here that I love a good LWD, and this one is just to die for! It’s definitely going to be my go-to summer dress! The detailing is just beautiful and I love that it has slip sleeves. Also, I don’t think you can ever go wrong with chiffon either. It’s a summer must!
As always, thanks much for stopping by & have a great weekend!
