I must admit: I am completely M.I.D.I smitten! Midi skirts are my new mini’s, and it certainly helps that they are massive this season! Everywhere I look I find myself surrounded by them which makes me even happier! A good midi skirt urges me to channel my inner fairytale-meets-Grace-Kelly, and let’s face it: Who doesn’t want a Grace Kelly moment? I certainly do! These beautiful skirts (which rest so effortlessly on our lower body) scream exaggerated beauty to me, and whether you are on the hunt for toned down hues or bold neon shades, prints or patterns – simply go for it and be transformed! I bet YOUR inner retro doll (in a very modern sophisticated way) is waiting to be unleashed too!

What are your thoughts on midi skirts?! I would love to hear from you!

As always, thank you so much for reading & have a great day!

I am so excited to share my experience at College Fashion Week Chicago (which was held last Saturday, October 18 at the Revel Downtown) with you, as well as sharing my favorite look from Boohoo, Manchester’s best kept fashion secret to one of the fastest growing international etailers.

I received a V.I.P invite from Boohoo, who not only dressed me for the event (I wore their Serena Contrast Lace Halterneck Dress – check it out here and here), but they also gifted me with their must-have staples for fall! I am wearing their Isla Wet Look Waist Trousers paired with their fun #CELFIE tee, and to complete the look I decided to wear their Lola Ribbon Fedora Hat, as well. I am completely in love with this look! Boohoo certainly knows how to combine cutting-edge designs with an affordable price tag because believe it or not: This entire look costs less than $100!

Below is a fun GIF picture of me and my mom at College Fashion Week Chicago (yes, she accompanied me!) that I simply have to share with you! College Fashion Week was such an awesome event, and on this note I would like to thank Boohoo for the V.I.P invitation at CFW, as well as for sponsoring this post.

And before I forget: Please, welcome Bodhi to our family! Our little puppy joined me and my family last week, and we could not be more smitten! Isn’t he the cutest?!

As always, thank you for stopping by! Heart you all!

Happy Friday, dolls! I love collar dresses – they are super feminine and somewhat whimsical, don’t you agree? But this little gem from F21 has some sharpness to it. From the pattern to the collar…it represents some edge while still being feminine. I purchased this dress a year ago while on an innocent stroll into Forever 21 (I call it ‘innocent’ because I always tell my hubs that I just want to look around but somehow always end up with a purchase, oops!). This dress was only $24.80 and I am super happy with it. It fits nicely, and is just the right length for (nearly) 5ft 5inches me. I love it and wore it strolling round Chicago today. This included long walks, another trip into Barney’s to fondle the Celine handbags, a leisurely lunch which coincided with a café latte afterwards! It’s been a good day!

As always, thanks for stopping by & have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Wednesday, darlings! Today I’m keeping things easy with this little black jumpsuit from Marshalls. It truly was a steal (it cost only $19.99!) and let me tell you: This jumpsuit is amazing! I love wearing it to work since I look somewhat pulled together, and yet I’m comfortable at the same time! However, I kept my accessories to the minimum this time to avoid ‘being too busy’. I only added a few simple bracelets, and since my jumpsuit is all one color, I decided to wear a chain belt around the waist to give it some extra character, and to polish off the complete look. What do you think? I would love to hear from you!

As always, thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Monday, lovelies! Over the weekend I had the pleasure to attend the Simply Stylist Fashion & Beauty Conference in Chicago. It was a fabulous networking event that included a brunch, panels and breakout sessions with top industry experts, shopping, and pampering. During the event, I had the unique opportunity to connect with other fashion bloggers, such as Wendy Nguyen of ‘Wendy’s Lookbook’ (who’s beyond sweet!), and many more FABULOUS bloggers who I adore as well!

The whole conference was hosted by E! News host, Catt Sadler, and panelists: Stephanie Mark (Co-founder of The Coveteur), Wendy Nguyen (Wendy’s Lookbook), Annie Finch (Founder of Katherine Cosmetics), etc.

It truly was a unforgettable experience, to not only meet with industry experts, but to foster new friendships as well.

As always, thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous Monday!
