Lace & Leather

Happy Friday, lovelies!

We’ve had amazing weather the last couple of days which gave us the opportunity to spend some quality time in our favorite city: C H I C A G O. Yes, I am very much a city girl! There’s nothing else I enjoy more but stroll around the city with my family, grab a cup of coffee on the go, and watch the world go by at Millennium Park.

I am wearing a lace dress from OASAP which I have paired with one of my favorite biker-esque jackets (which I have purchased a while back in Germany), and my cozy faux fur scarf from H&M! This look is super chic for a stroll downtown, and yet comfortable enough to have fun with the fam(ily)!

As always, thanks so much for reading & have a great weekend! See you back here on Monday!

Chic Edge

I have a healthy obsession with faux leather pants. They are edgy yet chic, and let me tell you: They are super comfortable! I received these faux leather pants from Bohme as part of our collaboration, and I am completely smitten! Faux leather pants are so versatile too – simply pair them with your favorite sweater, or a fun graphic tee and you are all set! I paired mine with a neon sweater (I still cannot let go of bold colors!), and my new MUST HAVE item for autumn: The Fedora Hat.

Warning: You will see me rock the fedora hat on several more occasions!

As always, thanks so much for reading & a BIG THANK YOU to Bohme for sponsoring this post!

PS: I have a coupon code for you from BOHME! Use SHOP20 and get $20 OFF your purchase if you spend $150 or more!

Happy Shopping!

Red Midi Skirt

I must admit: I am completely M.I.D.I smitten! Midi skirts are my new mini’s, and it certainly helps that they are massive this season! Everywhere I look I find myself surrounded by them which makes me even happier! A good midi skirt urges me to channel my inner fairytale-meets-Grace-Kelly, and let’s face it: Who doesn’t want a Grace Kelly moment? I certainly do! These beautiful skirts (which rest so effortlessly on our lower body) scream exaggerated beauty to me, and whether you are on the hunt for toned down hues or bold neon shades, prints or patterns – simply go for it and be transformed! I bet YOUR inner retro doll (in a very modern sophisticated way) is waiting to be unleashed too!

What are your thoughts on midi skirts?! I would love to hear from you!

As always, thank you so much for reading & have a great day!

Floral Skirt

My heart is seriously in the clouds when I’m wearing this beautiful floral skirt from Choies. I’ve told you on Monday that I have started a collaboration with them, and I cannot help but swoon every time I wear one of their items. They have by far the most amazing midi skirts I have ever seen/worn (check out their midi collection here). I have paired the skirt with a fabulous lace blouse which I have also received from Choies, and my favorite clutch from Mellow World.

Speaking of Mellow World Handbags:

I have GREAT NEWS for you! From now on you can get 10% OFF A.L.W.A.Y.S when you use my coupon code ‘MW10VWEAR‘ at checkout! Yes, ALWAYS! So, head on over to and shop, and don’t forget to use my coupon code!

As always, thanks so much for reading and a BIG THANK YOU to Choies and Mellow World for sponsoring this post.

Boohoo + College Fashion Week Chicago

I am so excited to share my experience at College Fashion Week Chicago (which was held last Saturday, October 18 at the Revel Downtown) with you, as well as sharing my favorite look from Boohoo, Manchester’s best kept fashion secret to one of the fastest growing international etailers.

I received a V.I.P invite from Boohoo, who not only dressed me for the event (I wore their Serena Contrast Lace Halterneck Dress – check it out here and here), but they also gifted me with their must-have staples for fall! I am wearing their Isla Wet Look Waist Trousers paired with their fun #CELFIE tee, and to complete the look I decided to wear their Lola Ribbon Fedora Hat, as well. I am completely in love with this look! Boohoo certainly knows how to combine cutting-edge designs with an affordable price tag because believe it or not: This entire look costs less than $100!

Below is a fun GIF picture of me and my mom at College Fashion Week Chicago (yes, she accompanied me!) that I simply have to share with you! College Fashion Week was such an awesome event, and on this note I would like to thank Boohoo for the V.I.P invitation at CFW, as well as for sponsoring this post.

And before I forget: Please, welcome Bodhi to our family! Our little puppy joined me and my family last week, and we could not be more smitten! Isn’t he the cutest?!

As always, thank you for stopping by! Heart you all!
