The other day my husband asked me why I was wearing a wrist watch because these days we can easily consult our phones for a quick time-check, however, I very much prefer wrist watches. My Fossil watch gives me many reasons why I prefer wearing watches instead of using my phone to check time.  To me, a quick glance towards my wrist is much classier. There are many occasions where checking time on your cell phone simply seems inappropriate – think meetings, etc. + watches are functional. They don’t run out of battery as fast as cell phones do, don’t you agree?

And there’s something else. Watches signal style and communicate a lot about the wearer’s personality. The Fossil watch I’m wearing has attracted more attention than any other item in my wardrobe, and it sure says a lot about me! I love the rose gold color, also known as pink gold, of my watch because it’s so subtle and delicate. I adore delicate pieces that are feminine, and yet this watch is somewhat masculine, too since it consists of a stainless steel and shimmer horn acetate bracelet.

Now you tell me: What’s not to love about watches?

    I agree with you, watches are great ! I would prefer to wear a watch over checking my phone! I have been wearing a wrist watch for some time now and its nice because it is really quick and easy to check the time, especially when I am running around the lab with gloves on! and it is less stimulation than looking at your phone, because I find that when i check the time, if i have a notification then I have to check it or respond to a message etc. so i really like wearing a watch!
    i also love this outfit, you never disappoint with your fab outfits V!

    I am a total watch person. A day rarely goes by when I don’t have one on. My dad is a watch junkie and has always passed his men’s watches on to me, so I love a statement piece like this.

    I use my cell phone all the time to check the time – even when I’m wearing a watch. I think it’s just a habit but I love the look of a nice timepiece. There are so many styles to choose from and it says so much about the wearer.

    I wear a watch everyday too, I felt lost without it. It makes me feel so sophisticated. And as you know I have super small wrist and can only wear select styles but that doesn’t stop me 🙂
