Have you ever walked around your own city as if you were a tourist? Over the weekend my husband and I did just that. We walked for miles and miles and soaked in the beauty of the city as if it was our first time seeing it. My husband and I have traveled the world together but this past weekend we had the urge to explore our own city. Thanks to my classic pointed toe flats from Rothy’s it was possible to walk around for miles without my feet getting tired.

Exploring our very own city was very refreshing. My husband and I were not only able to see new things but from a completely different perspective. Sometimes you pass monuments, buildings, etc. without paying close attention so, you end up missing the beauty of it all. However, this time Jeff and I made an effort to be in the moment, soaking everything in as if we were tourists.
For our little adventure in the city I decided to wear my modern pointed toe flats from Rothy’s. They are not only super comfortable but also elevate your look to the next level. I opted for a pair of white denim and a beige turtleneck sweater to complete my outfit.

I absolutely love the look of the Rothy’s (especially the pointed toe ones) and those leopards are no my new favorite! But I’ve really been hesitant to get a pair because that’s high-dollar for flats. It’s great to know that they’re worth it! I love Chicago. I was born there and spent my summers there until I was 16. It’s been so long since I’ve been back and this makes me want a visit (but not this time of year).

I use to work for Michigan Avenue magazine and it was funny me and the photo editor walked in to a place to eat and at the same time we both knew the place from doing a story on it, I think it is called The Kitchen.
