The Holiday season is fast approaching. Mittens and gloves are out and the excitement and joy of the season is already in the air. Christmas is my favorite time of year. Christmas is one of those holidays where I can unleash my creativity. And what’s a better way than to celebrate the upcoming holidays with a dear friend who also happens to have a keen eye on design and decorating? Over the weekend, Jennifer L Mattson and I decorated one of her guest bedrooms—we had scores of decorating ideas but the holiday bedding from Kohl’s was our favorite to beautify her guest bedroom for the upcoming holidays.
Jennifer has collected some of the best Christmas decorations. It truly was an easy match when I showed her the bedding I got at Kohl’s. I purchased the Cuddl Duds Red Plaid Flannel Comforter which was such a great match for her rustic themed guest bedroom. It was so fun to work with someone who is just as passionate about home design as I am. We both worked our magic for an hour or so and I must admit that I was speechless when we both looked at the transformation of the guest bedroom.

Bedding Set | Chunky Knit Throw
The comforter bedding, as well as the super chunky knit throw (both available at Kohl’s) are a simple, yet stunning way to decorate your bedroom for the Holidays. What’s gonna be more major than red and white plaid?! These festive colors added the perfect stepping stone for what’s to come. It was incredible to watch Jennifer work her magic—she’s truly talented. She looked at the bedding and knew what else needed to be added to give the room a cozy and warm feel.

Kohl’s has been a favorite of mine for many years. I’m all for “quality home essentials at amazing prices”. Speaking of prices, did you know that Kohl’s runs a November Home Sale on Columbia, The Big One, Cuddlduds, and Serta from 11/7-11/18? I purchased the super chunky knit throw (cozy and timeless—seriously the perfect accent for your bedroom, living room or lounge space) and the comforter set from Cuddl Duds.
Jennifer added warm, soft and rustic accent to our plaid bedding. The red, white and brown color combination gave it a countryside touch, with the chunky knit throw adding a modern feel to it. The bedding set is sure to bring holiday cheer to your house, wouldn’t you agree?!
