Finally, some spring weather! I can’t tell you how amazing it is to feel some warmth again! At the end of a long Chicago arctic winter, spring is starting to awaken.
It’s been such a long winter and my family and I really were already feeling the need for sun, sand and surf, and this weekend was just perfect to plan our first beach day! We headed to the beach for the afternoon and it felt amazing! A friend of mine said that it must feel like “having a baby without an epidural” and I had to laugh! This was probably the best analogy I have ever heard because it is SO VERY true! It simply is the B E S T feeling. And the funny thing is that once it gets warmer in the Midwest we all seem to forget about winter.
